Hi! I'm Alisha Smith...

I am an American Speech & Hearing Association certified speech-language pathologist with 6 years of experience in schools, private practice, and teletherapy treating children and adolescents in collaboration with their families. I currently hold professional licenses in the states of Georgia, Ohio & Washington.

My mission is to help ensure families and children get the right kind of therapy, that is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and focused on honoring their specific needs. I specialize in early language intervention, Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) and neurodiversity-affirming pragmatics therapy (e.g. self-advocacy).

I am here to offer a balanced, child-focused alternative to rigid behavioral methods that are so often recommended to neurodivergent children.

I provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for children face-to-face within Northwest Atlanta metro as well as virtually within the entire states of Georgia, Ohio and Washington.
